It’s the most comfortable chesty I’ve ever worn. Super light and mobile but still protective as a tank.

I bought one right away, im 5'10 and got XS. Easily the best chesty ive used! its so comfortable and protective, the puck just sticks to you unlike the older versions that shot rebounds off the sternum. Only one small bruise so far but it hit me in the arm pit in RVH, which is gonna happen in any unit here and there. Now, if bauer will let me order just the arms i can have beefed up arms for higher level and change out to normal arms for pick up etc to keep the protection longer in the beefed pair.

That's an interesting idea! We know one of our regular testers is looking at different units for practice (beefed up) and games (for better feel).

At 5’10, I feel XS is too small for ya. Might play into that armpit shot you felt. Just tried med and lg, I’m 6’0 and med was too small.

I am 5’10 and I got the small but the charts say I should be in a medium but the arms just felt way too long on a medium. Now I am just wondering if I should return them and go with medium

What do u do if you’re like me and uses supenders over chesty..seems difficult to place the suspenders

Did you ever figure something out for this? I just started using suspenders and am about to try out this chesty on thursday for the first time, curious if its as difficult as you said to get them to sit properly while playing, thanks!

I honestly hated this chesty. Arms are way too long for the size. I went from a large ccm to a medium and they were stil too long. Having the elbow cups being pre set and non adjustable was a huge no for me. I had to cut the strapping so that it didnt dig into my forearm. Also the ventilation in this unit was crap. I always felt overly hot when playing in it. I wish bauer would let stuff be adjustable again and quit making everything skin tight as not ever goalie is built like a stick figure.
