Bay Boat Fishing in 1000' of Water? Snowy Grouper/Tripletail Catch Clean and Cook

In this video we take the 25' X3 Shallow Sport Bay Boat out to 1000' of water! On the way we see a bunch of bottlenose dolphin and then do a little deep dropping. We catch a couple tilefish and a jack before moving on. Further out we find a piece of debris and catch a tripletail, then find a mahi, and finally make it to the last spot of the day. We wind up catching a really nice snowy grouper on the hand crank rod! The tackle set up was a penn fathom 40 paired up with one of our 20 lb conventional rods. stanzfishing.com/products/20-...

Orange Roughy is great to eat. In the Midwest its one of the better fish to eat. Its usually like 10 a pound these days. Very white and flaky!

Dang, Jocelyn killing it with the fine dining skills!!! Some of my best days fishing were when the weather was smoking hot and no wind. So hot you can’t catch your breath but it’s worth it. Changes the whole feeling of being on the water. Wish I could explain it better but it’s always made me thing of being in the desert (but catching fish).

@@KongFps1 YES, but when you have 4-5 guys and splitting the cost, it was like 250.00 each for whole day, and if you can't spend that on something great, you shouldn't be in the keys. GREAT TIME I will definately look for you. Take care.

We caught 8 mahi off a blue barrel just like that off of Port Canaveral last weekend. Love finding those things. Someone must have gotten to it before you did or it would have been loaded. Good looking meal too. We always hit the square grouper when we are down there. Delish!

I once found a pod of dolphin 100 strong or more, 20 miles offshore in 1600ft on a flat calm no breeze day. Killed the motors and they just surrounded the boat. Investigated every inch of the boat. Awesome experience.
