Villanova was the toughest opponent that Baylor faced the entire tournament (only game the Bears trailed at halftime during their title run). I think it had to do with style of play. Both teams were in the 2017 East bracket.

Way to make me feel worse, March madness. At least I can say nova was the only team that came close to beating Baylor. (I know Arkansas lost by less but they were getting blown out until the end)

Exactly. Couldn't watch the game live. I was too nervous. Only tuned in every once in a while...barely, though. Heard what happened. Wound was too fresh to watch the dvr recording so soon after the game. JUST watched the 1st half for the 1st time maybe a week or 2 ago. And I still haven't watched the 2nd half of this game and never will.

This was all part of their sinister plan to to deny Gonzaga our national championship. We had a better record so we can claim it's a draw (no we can't). They lost to Kansas and we beat Kansas so we can say we're better , (no, they split with Kansas). They lost to Oklahoma State and we beat them. (no, that was Oklahoma.) I'm just going to forget about the last game and remember a perfect season. I just want you to know I would not have been pulling for Baylor to reach the finals if I had known they were going to win. Congratulations, I guess.
