A lot of people ask where is the best 55+ communities if Florida. The quick answer is that there several. The biggest and most well know is probably Del Webb properties.
Del Webb has several 55+ communities in Florida, Bayview by Del Webb is one of those. Located in Parrish Florida. It's okay, Parrish is not one of the "hip" places to move to. But, retiring there is a horse of a different color. Bayview is arguably one of the best places to live in Florida.
Location is great. Parrish is centrally located about 30 miles from Tampa, Sarasota and St Petersburg. Making it close enough to go enjoy what those cities offer, but far enough that you won't be sitting traffic all day just to get to the grocery store.
The Driftwood, when completed, will provide residents of Bayview with a spectacular clubhouse complete with a resort style pool area, fitness center, planned social activities, shuffleboard, bocce ball, and tennis.
It will prove to be one of Del Webb's premier projects and on of the best places to live in Florida.

Another great video! My husband and I appreciate your honest and straightforward approach. Silly question but do they apply the 80/20 “rule” to allow 50 year olds?

Thank you for the compliment! In 55 plus communities, opposed to 65 plus, only one homeowner needs to be 55. Minimum age for any resident is 21.

@@YourTampaRealtors is there any chance they’ll allow us (at 51yrs old this year) to buy and build knowing it will probably take another year or more before the home would be complete? We’re very interested in the Stellar Grand with a pool.

@@melymel36 it's my understanding that someone younger than 55 can purchase the home. One resident has to be 55. I will confirm that and get back to you.
