@@LeR0IJesus, peace be upon him, came with the same message as all the prophets before him. Worship One God and that God has no partners, no sons, no mother, nor no father. It’s the same message sent by Moses, Jacob, Isaac, Ishmael, Abraham and all of the greatest human beings that walked the face of the earth. None of them called themselves God and all of them submit to the same God.

Knowledge, in this short? When he makes a mistake? Every Surah has importance for every Muslim. The surah he used is a great example of proving him wrong. Firstly, the meaning is "Say: oh you disbelievers...", who is being commanded to "say"? The Muslim to the disbeliever. The lesson for Muslims is to not compromise on your religion, and unfortunately we see Muslims doing this today.

@@anonymous-qe6hp You need the fata7a (the first chapter ) and your prayer will still inshaAllah be valid. Plus you can in the beginning use a paper to remind you. But you can't just abandon your prayers

But according to my opinion and experience, every Ayah you read seems to be revealed for us, only ourselves. The Qur'an talks with us with every single word and it's like it knows what we were going through, what we're trying to find, and what's happening in our lives SübhanAllah!!. I'm referring to the natural traits of a human .. ego , temperament , strange sexual desires , jealousy , ignorance , Glutony , evil mindedness etc Left uncontrolled and not managed will lead to the same negative outcome , only , in a more damaging potential .. Ur right, it's not about importance, it's about context. For example, a method of repentance of a sin is freeing a slave, which was in context where slavery was prevalent. So in the world today, this method cannot be followed, bcuz u don't have slaves, so only remaining 2 methods can be used i.e. feeding or providing clothing to 10 people.

@@afnankadri971really? slavery is still a thing. just because it’s legally abolished doesn’t mean everyone has stopped practicing it now. slavery still exists in many parts of the world, it was never abolished, so yes, that part of the quran STILL applies and it will always apply, allah knows, and you do not know

Al-Kafirun is for the believers! It instructs us how to speak/deal with the defiant disbelievers. It also teaches us to be firm upon our deen and not compromise 'I will never worship what you worship'. If you read the context in which it was revealed, you would realise this was a strong lesson Allah sent to the Prophet ﷺ and mankind about being firm upon our deen

The context: It was revealed in Mecca. This surah was revealed when some chieftains of Makkah Mukarma, including Waleed bin Mughirah As bin Wail, etc., proposed peace to Muhammad, peace be upon him, that one year you worship our gods, and the next year we worship the will your god..

Teaches us to not compromise on Deen and tawheed, even with the incentive of peace (at the time, the muslims were brutally persecuted, this deal could seem tempting). Our deen is off limits. We can compromise on comforts and luxuries.... but not Islam

What he is saying resonates with me. There are some ayahs which were revealed to bring comfort to Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Like surah Zuha. It brings peace to us too.. that Allah doesn't leave us alone.. but we have to be virtuous and on Allah's path. Only then Allah won't leave us. Allah never left Prophet Muhammad PBUH but he will certainly leave us if we don't follow his path, go against all his 'ehkaam', make no effort to change and still seek refuge in Surah Zuha. This is my understanding. Please correct me if I'm wrong..

I just realised, the kafiroon surah is ACTUALLY what the disbelievers really believe in. Instead of arguing about the truth, they preach everyone to follow their own religion, even if it is wrong. Because Qul is imperative "Say", the disbelievers actually say the very same thing in their discourse due to Allah's command, and therefore they have no better argument than "we follow our way, you follow your way" when confronted with truth. Wow, this guy just makes me look at Qur'an I could not see before, may Allah raise his statuses in this life and hereafter.

Kafirs specifically refer to the disbelievers during the time of Prophet. In today's world, we don't know who is going to be guided by ALLAH towards Islam so we can't term any non-muslim as Kafir and apply surah kafirun to them. Again that's my understanding. And ALLAH knows best.

Assalaam o Alaikum Nouman, Jazak ALLAH Khairun for your explanations and beautiful work. I think you should say it this way. Surahs of the Glorious Qur'an are for every Muslim to deliver to different audiences to invite them back to the source, which is ALLAH swt Glorious Qur'an and ultimately to ALLAH swt Deen, Al Islam. Now concerning Surahtul Kafiroon, This Surah i personally believe is the most understood surah in the Glorious Qur'an by the Muslims, Let me Translate it for you. 'Say to the Disbelievers, the Christians, Jews, Hindus, Bahai, Sikhs, Sai Baba followers, the Atheists, the Buddists etc etc etc. We Muslims do not worship the Dieties that you worship that you all call God. And You oh Kafirs (Disbelivers) do not worship who we Muslims worship who is our creator and your creator too, who is ALLAH swt. To you is your way and to us Muslims is our way. You see Nouman, with this very STRONG Message from the Glorious Qur'an a Muslim is Forbidden to refer to ALLAH swt to as God and ALLAH swt is Not God. The First Kalima says this also. Genisis 2 verse 2 of their Bible says God required Rest on the 7th Day. Ayahtul Qursi says ALLAH swt does not require Rest. So how can ALLAH swt be God who the Kafirs worship. This wull be committing Shirk Khabeer.....an audhibillah.

From another angle, the primary audience of Al Kafirun is the Prophet SAWW and by extension the believers because it says Qul or say in the beginning. Then it goes on to show a distinction between believers and disbelievers that I do not worship what you all worship and you all do not worship what I worship. That is also translated into the fact that we are ordered not to resemble the kuffar in their religious symbols. Secondly, when the kuffar are mentioned, plural word forms are used but when the one who worship Allah are mentioned singular form is used meaning that disbelievers are similar in their kufr but are divided among themselves and following different deities but Muslims are united in one ummah like a single body and they worship only one God.

respectfully, i disagree. there’s a deep lesson in every surah of the quran, whether you are a kafir or not doesn’t change the fact that the knowledge within the quran might prove useful in the future, because guess what, more often than not, it does
