Don't Tell the Bride - Series 8: 6. Elle & David - Romantic groom David met the woman of his dreams, Elle, just over a year ago. Now he wants to quite literally sweep Elle off her feet, with an ambitious wedding in a hot-air balloon and his bride wearing a dress he's designed himself. But with balloon flights being notoriously weather-dependent and a feisty fiancée and her eight bridesmaids to please, will David's airbound nuptials take off or will the young lovebirds' sky-high wedding come crashing down?

Despite the fact that the show tried to put their usual spin on this couple's experience (bride and groom want different things and irresponsible groom throws away money but somehow pulls off a wedding at the end), you can tell this groom actually has his shit together. The narrator repeating that the wedding has too many themes actually reinforces how on top of things this groom is, because all the other themes fit really well under the title "Mad Hatter Tea Party." It's ok to have an impressive groom. I don't know why they have to try to make him look lost. He's great!

I think they need to use more than a flashlight to film this!! Can't see anything except whatever the flashlight is illuminating. I need a bigger budget for this program 😣

FINALLY, a groom who cares about his bride! So many of these man children take this as an opportunity to spend $$ on parties abroad and expensive suits... and buy second hand dresses or costumes for the bridesmaids. He didn’t make the best decisions with his budget, but you can tell he really wants to make her happy. And MAD PROPS to that seamstress... My hopes were not high at all... that looks professional!

They are both from two different social classes. His Mum puts on a good face but she is not happy about the marriage. He obviously loves his bride so wish them all the best.

@@gabriellakate3310 copyright aside it is still too dark. Watching these with the torch through the keyhole filter give me a headache. Since others can manage without being this horrible a lighting issue there is no excuse.
