She was trying to be a snob, but all she was, was in overall control freak, she only wanted the sleek looking dress to show off her figure....well she would have been better with the one he chose!!! This groom did pretty well, except for the fact that he left his wife to go change into a scarecrow. He could've traveled there with his bride and just the groomsmen could've met them dressed in overalls. He really did well considering he's never planned anything on his own before. The bride should be kinder.

Honestly if you felt that way, why bother signing up for the show? I wouldn't have one person plan my whole wedding without me having a say period. Should be what the bride and groom want.

This was a horrible idea for this couple. She said that she was using this an the ultimate test for him to see how well he knew her. She expected to show up and have everything she wanted and perfect. He's a guy that you've been controlling his life for the last 10 years, why would she think he would know anything?

There's a word for women like Alex... I can't write it in here as it's not a family-friendly one...

I don't understand why she did this if she had to have so much control over everything. I'm a complete control freak too, but that is why I would never dream of setting my poor fiancee up for a fall by asking him to pick the exact dress, venue etc that I want. And the way she spoke to that shop assistant was rather impolite.

She chose a much more flattering dress. But honestly, 3/4 of the dresses in the shops are strapless, and so many of us just hate strapless dresses. I think he did TRY to choose a nice dress, and he did quite well with the bridesmaids' dresses. Thank heavens he chose to marry in a church, given the "down home" reception.

I feel like he did good nice wedding even let her get a dress which was for her and then he made the reception his theme but very nice and put together well

The way this video is so dark really ruins the viewing. I will not watch another that you can only see through what looks flashlight shone through a keyhole. Since other videos from this series can be watched without this issue I won't watch any others with this problem.

You could see the hurt in the poor grooms eyes that she chose a different dress. If she really loved him she would have worn the dress he chose. She seems to be quite the spoilt brat. Lucky for her he seems easy going. Not so good for him though in the long run.

I hate how horrible people always are towards the brides in the comment sections of these things, how many guys do you know who start planning their entire wedding via Pinterest boards at 16, girls are obsessed with this stuff and if for whatever reason they do hand the task over to their finances, I thing the have the right to complain about some things I mean isn't that why we watch the show, admit it, it makes it a hell of a lot more entertaining. Dont know why some of you are saying she is controlling and when exactly was she rude to the assistant i dont think she is or was at all, and the dress, she chose that she would wear had she been in charge of her wedding was beautiful and elegant although i wouldn't have had the veil as it hides too much of the beautiful back of the dress, the dress he chose looked cheap and tacky if anything he should have chosen the dress on the right definitely not the left. So pleased she was able to change the dress and the one from the window was also beautiful....
