The Responder viewers were thrilled as season two returned to our screens over the weekend.
The second series of the hit BBC show continued to explore Chris Carson's story after he narrowly avoided being sucked under by corruption. Martin Freeman has reprised his role as Chris, with the character trying to rebuild his personal relationships in the new season.
But he suffered a number of setbacks in the dramatic first episode as his ex wife revealed she may be about to relocate for a new job and take their daughter with her. Viewers were also introduced to Chris's dad, Tom, played by the legendary Bernard Hill, who sadly died on Sunday.
