The writers for the series are brilliant and pure genius. I don't care if it follows the legend closely or not. I deeply love it.

BBC, why not make a film based on Merlin series? There's never been another actor who is as interesting to watch in this part as Colin Morgan. The dynamic between Merlin and Arthur is by far the best ever seen in the history of Arthurian on-screen productions. We are ready for the Coming of Arthur. Or should it be called Merlin? Well, let us not worry about the title just yet.

They could make a movie that takes place between the fourth season and fifth one, showing Arthur exposed to the good side of magic, because they never really did that, which is really odd. Normally when you've thrown so many bad sides of something at a character you will turn to the good things about it at the end. It's standard literary and narrative technique. I actually kind of found it annoying that they didn't do that. I found that it was a bit amateurish. Not that the show is amateurishly made in any ways, but they really should have gone with that in the end. Also, a movie will enable them to show the great kingdom that Arthur was going to lead, since the show never went there, despite hinting at him being the future king of a great, united kingdom.

As much as we all miss it, thank god Merlin stopped before it got bad. Too many of my favourite shows have been ruined because producers have given into the pressure of the fandom and writing has gotten shoddy as a result. This show will always be awesome and I'm so glad for that.

I watch the all series on Netflix on these days. And I fall in love with the story and the cast. Please BBC give us the Film with the rebirth of King Arthur with Merlin or any other story with these cast! Thanks

I am so overwhelmed by the epicness of this trailer! The song is perfect, Morgana is an incredible villain, Merlin is magicness, Arthur is kingly, wolves, snow, darkness, Gwaine... I can't wait for season 5 >_

Every time the trailer comes on the TV i make my parents be quiet so i can dramatically recite the line "i swear, i will protect you OR DIE AT YOUR SIDE." with Merlin and then laugh because they have no idea that Merlin and Arthur are gay for each other. I am a slightly twisted individual.

I watched some episodes on TV when I was 12 or something. I loved the show but couldn't watch the ending. That was like a secret burden. Atlast in the age of 22 I binged watched it. Watched the whole series. Now I can die peacefully.🔥

Watching in 2015. I love this TV show and it's a shame that it has ended. I finish watching Merlin twice now and still am watching it. Never get tired of it. ;)

To anyone who hasn't seen series 5 yet, it is AWESOME! So far three episodes have been shown on BBC. If I can say anything about the new series it's that it has got much darker. Morgana gets more evil. Yeah, I know - MORE evil!! Mordred has gotten alot older. Gwen is so different now that she's queen. The roundtable has returned to Camelot(which I was really excited about because it is one of the only legends I know). Just watch it if you haven't already. You really don't know what your missing.
