I haven't seen a show that's this interesting in a long long long time. I watched the first episode and since then have been hooked. Seen both seasons and watching the 3rd now but I still can't get enough. Only one word can describe this: EPIC

BBC makes the best children movies EVER

I wonder if anyone knew how epic Merlin was going to be when we first saw the trailer.

I would say yes. It starts out a bit camp, but the genuine character interactions make it one of my favorites. The show has to be family friendly, which can help or hurt it in turns, and ridiculous lengths people will go to to protect Merlin's magic are sometimes absurd. The villains can be a bit heavy handed and the rest a bit daft. This doesn't detract from the fact that the characters are bright, lovable, and caring, and it can be the most beautiful shoe I've seen. I hope this helps. - Genny

"keep magic secret" Yeah you keep it secret from the king until the very last episodes😐 i just hate the fact that Merlin don't and will never get credits for what he has done for Arthur and Camelot. He nearly die multiple times to save Arthur's lives and yet they never respect him. I know its just a tv series but it also one of the tv series that i truly love and deeply attached to it😂😂 ok im done. It feels really good to let this things out of my head😂😂

'Merlin' is the only series I've ever watched so fascinated! :>. It tells about lovely story early Britain where you can find legendary characters like Merlin or Arthur ;). I can't wait for the 4th series! Just can't!

A timeless story, great locations, great actors. Why isn't this wonderful series available in the U.S.? It is so frustrating watching snippets on youtube. I understand it is starting it's 2nd season and we still haven't seen it here. There would be a HUGE market for this great-looking series in the U.S. Hey BBC--are you listening? Why isn't PBS showing this? WHY isn't available on Region 1 DVD?

Great, great, great - like many series made by BBC One, but this is THE BEST I've ever seen. Unfortulanely I'm Polish and I won't have a chance to see next series on TV as they haven't been made in English yet. And waiting for translation... When I see something like this I hate being Polish!!! ;)

i remember when i saw the promo for merlin on channel 10 for the first time and i was like this show looks good i have a feeling im going to like it. then when i watched the first few minutes of the first episode i was like yep i love this show now its my favourite show
