As per my understanding It's the story of my life - to express negative which often happens to you Don't mind me- ignore me Excuse me- to ask permission I don't buy it- we don't believe it Cramp my style - someone or something is stopping you from doing what you want It beats me- I don't understand It escapes me- I forget I'm out - no more

A: Oh no! I forgot to bring my Math notebook again. It's basically the story of my life. B: It beats me how you always forget to bring it. A: Excuse me! But I don't always forget it! It has just been a couple of times. B: Yes, yes. Actually, don't mind me. You should be thinking about what are you going to say to the teacher this time. A: 😢 I'm out of excuses. It escapes me what was the last one I used. B: What if you tell him that you washed your backpack and then forgot to put your notebook back on it? A: He won't buy it! B: Anyway, it's almost time. You'd better have a good excuse.
