Honestly same. I'm 5'2, but when I came to my school three years ago I was literally the second tallest girl and taller than the majority of the boys. I can't see her!" whilst peering over me.

YES! I have lazy eye and all I got all the time is "Look at me!" (me looking at them with my dominant eye) or strangers often: "So... ehm... (looking around, the way my lazy eye is "looking")... is there... anything? Can I just... ehm...." or "You didn't see it?" (asking about something happening on the other side of the room where my lazy eye is "looking") and the gold (this comming from my mum all the time, btw.. thanks mum): "Your eye is RUNNING AWAY (in my language also meaning "moving the wrong way")! Ppl always asumed that I don't concentrate enough at them. My mother especially. I didn't even know what lazy eye was, I though that I do something wrong with my eyes and that I'm not trying enough. I was like 16 till I read about it somewhere... She only told me "correct it!" and I though that when I blink it will be ok. I didn't watch myself in a mirror 24/7 so I didn't know it was a permanent medical problem. I honestly though for so long that she was right and it was something occuring to all people when they don't concentrate. I was like 20 when I found out that she is blind in one eye :o. Other people almost never talk about it and since I wear glasses I also get stuff like: "I would never notice!" or "It doesn't look like you have lazy eye" but IT IS VISIBLE and you can tell that they KNOW because in reality they say: "The frames partially hide your lazy eye and also glasses are enough of distraction so I don't have to think about that lazy eye all the time I'm looking at you"
