Fresh out of prison, can three young people adapt to their new lives on an electronic tag? Despite each following a strict curfew, they all face very different challenges.

I have 37 offences, mostly violent from the age of 16-21 but I’ve not been in trouble for over 12 years and now I have completed a degree with first class honours and now I’m studying for my PhD. People can change and if you believe in rehabilitation then what’s the problem? We all make mistakes in life and we should all have the opportunity to re-enter society. The best route for offenders is a construction qualification and becoming self employed because then no one can hold you back because of your offences.

I’ve also had tag. Worked when I was mature enough to change but had it when I was 17 and I cut it off because I was still a child. When these people are ready to change, they will. Some might never change obviously.

You had more than one chance apparently. You can’t make a leopard change it’s spots. Some of these guys their attitude, machismo, and entitlement is sickening. They should have had a good ass whooping growing up to keep them on the straight and narrow. Parents do your jobs. Raise your kids. Teach them right from wrong. As for Sam. He’s just a knob. My brother-in-law served 10 years and is now out. He was greatful just to be free. These people should not be making any qualms about wearing these devices. Do the crime, do the time, pay the consequences and move on with your life.

Do these guys get any mental health support while on tag? One of them has OCD & another obviously has trauma from his childhood. Real rehabilitation means changing your mindset, change your thought processes & it changes how you react to situations. They need support to work through past problems, they arent the kind of lads that are gonna want to have a heart to heart with their mates, they will think it shows weakness, or worse their mates might react badly & shame them for admitting thier problems. You can have all the intent & determination but if you dont realize what is causing you to act out, or what triggers you, then how are you supposed to prevent committing the same mistakes & crimes? A lot of people dont even realize what they are doing wrong, then CBT can change their life.

The hothead was taken away because he tried to strangle his pregnant girlfriend. The anxious one, got involved in moving a stolen car( which he admits on video that he's an accessory to). The only one who's got a chance for success, lives with his mother and his sister. When you have that connection with family, you have more of a chance to make it....!!!

I BEAT HIM FOR HE STOLE MY GOD DAMN CHOCOLATE BAR WHEN WE WAS KIDS THAT CHOCOLATE BAR COST ME 5 GRAND IT WAS MADE BY EDIBLE REAL GOLD MIX WITH CHOCLATE AFTER I BEAT HIM I BAILED OUT FOR A HEFTY PRICE OF HALF A MILLION AND A FEW CENTS IT WAS NOT BAD BEING RICH INIT?
