Another example why I love your channel: it's never perfect! It's always a little bit chaotic: no clue where to get water to cook rice. Chopsticks forgotten etc. As much as I like japanese perfection, japanese imperfection makes it even more adorable. Don't ever change, Yuka chan 😄👍!

2:08 You said (if correctly translated) "It took about 3 minutes from the tap to here. It was tiring". Girl, you pulled a rickshaw for hours not too long ago and now a 3 minute walk on flat ground is already exhausting you? I love you anyway. I was just wondering. 🥰 Nice haircut by the way. :)

You did really well :) As a South African, BBQ or "braai" as we call it is in our DNA, usually lots of red meat with a beef/pork sausage called boerewors (farmer sausage in English. We also have meat on skewers called sosaties. Having a bbq or braai with friends and family is a special thing and loved by all South Africans. Camping is great, being outside under the stars with a BBQ / braai, nothing beats it. So glad to see you trying new things. Always enjoy your videos, I hope you enjoyed your BBQ and look forward to seeing you do a video on camping one day. Best wishes from a South African in New Zealand :)

In some places in the US some people make a loud distinction between BBQ and grilling. It is all good to me. Red meat is always good no matter how it is cooked.

Yuka, a really good way to barbaque Corn on the cob, is place a 1foot square of aluminum foil down. Leave the husk on the cob. Place the cob on the foil, pour 1/4 cup of water or beer over the cob, then wrap the whole thing up tight in the foil, and place it on the grill. The foil keeps the liquid in and steams the corn in the husk. It comes out plump and juicy! Itatakimas!

I find it bizarre yours is the only comment warning about fire risk. I expected to see more people mention that it's a hazard. I'm glad the grass didn't catch, maybe it was damp underneath. This is very dangerous to burn so close to the field without some kind of gravel or stone underneath. Especially with the flames blown by wind at points. Luckily nothing came of it but people don't do that! Find a proper area for campfires even if it's one of these tin tray BBQs. The bottom of that tray had to be plenty hot.

We sometimes buy cheap, gimmicky things like this for camping just to try them out and see how it goes. After all, some of the best times in a camping trip is when something goes wrong with your gear (even the real stuff) and you have to improvise a solution. All things considered, this turned out pretty well. 😁
@user-fh8sr8oc4gАй бұрын
Konnichiwa Yuka, is a great try for your first time cooking in the wild, a bit of tin foil with butter for your corn on the cob, I would have stared the rice halfway through the time, and you need a flat stone to cook on, so you don't set the grass alight, but a brilliant job, I have been running Survival courses & cooking courses in the wild for ten year..................... Keep trying, thanks for a wonderful Vlog with a great smile!!! Garrie Chan 😁😁😁
