Its good to see young mark wanting to work and learn about the work and put the effort in as its hard to find a lad who wants to work at all just look after the lad making sure he doesn't get hurt as its not the safest job in a scrap yard but its alot better then years ago when i used to do the job

Hondas are pretty much bombproof, not the fastest in the world but they'll do decent mileage and pretty much run forever if you look after them! Make sure he doesn't cheap out on a helmet, stay away from ebay or Lidl Chinese cheap specials (Although Aldi/Lidl sometimes do deals on bike gear like boots, gloves, waterproofs etc that are usually pretty good), don't pay any less than £200 for a lid and stick with a decent brand, go to a bike shop and they'll sort you out with one that will fit properly too!

I missed two episodes last week, but I'm glad I was back in harness for this interesting session. Mark is making a good lad and I agree with James, as an ex driving instructor, that a driving licence at seventeen is a great thing, motorbikes, well, I am not so sure; although I do remember riding from Blackburn to Durham on a Norton Jubilee 250 twin in the pouring rain and, despite the "weather proof" kit of the era, getting to Durham with every stitch of my clothing soaked through! I'm pretty sure that a lot of people will be watching Mark's progress through future episodes, with people like Chris and Nathan and the others he has a good gang round him to help and advise and, in my opinion a couple of good bosses, and he's a bright lad! The yard is looking so much better this episode, the two 'main machines' the Doosan and the Baler, despite the downtime they have suffered cannot owe you very much at this point and have been so instrumental in bringing BCB up to date. However, I notice a subtle change in James and John over the three years, a more, mature air about you compared with the early days -- not that you were ever immature!! I think it is more to do with focus and John being almost as relaxed as James in front of camera. 12:03 Twenty-five cars a day, 175 cars a week and you are keeping on top of that; in the early days those figures would have swamped you! That, in itself is a remarkable achievement. H&S and electricity checks, a good move even looking at the complications there must be in the BCB set-up, would scare me to death! Now that most of the vehicles are liveried, the corporate image must be beginning to tell as the vehicles work in the area, that was a great decision. Thanks for the episode as the (very) old song said "Full of vitality" best wishes.

Got a window off yourself. Was impressed with the package. It was advised with a scratch witch we couldn't see uk the advert. Tuned up and it was below the door line and hardly noticeable antways was reasonable pricing and clean. Would use yourself again

Get all staff trained up as banksman. Mark reversing that wagon was an accident waiting to happen. I’ve seen 2 successful businesses in Ramsbottom and Bury be ruined by an accident/death at work injury.

Fair play for buying the bike was a bargain not all Chinese bikes are junk i paid £500 for one its only done 5500 miles on a 2014 and ive had it two years passed mot with little problems the parts are cheap and its never let me down just gos as fast as the honda but mine is a cg look no plastic every where and saves using the car all the time but it's not like it's going to get nicked like the honda and it's a fun to ride around my city and its cheap to run
