It's amazing isn't it. I had the police come out to talk to me because someone who didn't even live in the same town as me complained that my van was parked outside MY house but it was facing the "wrong direction of travel" and that it was passed my fence line. WTF! I told her I can park over what ever fence line I like and I park in that direction for security reasons as I can see the back doors of my van from the house. I live in a very quiet culdesac where there's hardly any flow of traffic and have been here 41 years! Have your house burgled or car nicked and they won't even come out to see you. It's a complete joke the way this country is

I stopped and spoke to one!!!! If you were going 35mph take off 3mph cos the Speedo lies you would have been ok. 38mph means you were clocking 40mph. I little heads up a dual carriageway isn't a true one unless it has a barrier or grass verge in the middle so in a 3.5 ton vehicle it's 50mph, I learnt that. Not real police just normal bloke been given powers by the chief constable 👍

On the A19 just outside Askern a dip developed in the road so for quite some time instead of fixing it they lowered the speed limit from 60 to 40 and on occasion put a mobile speed tax camera at one end of the restricted area. I bet they made a right killin'.

Hi Chris, another excellent struggle and the speeding ticket just makes the struggle that bit more difficult. Those spline and torx fasteners are terrible when they get old and corroded, I used to use a metric or imperial allen hex bit and hammer it into them and as long as it was a tight fit, they usually came undone. Write to them and ask for the evidence. When they send it just say "see you in court" They will close the case as it's cost more to take you to court so they don't bother.
