BCM 11.5" SBR with Bootleg adjustable BCG (no muzzle rise)

Күн бұрынMy brother and I warming up before our night shoot. He is shooting an 11.5" BCM SBR with Bootleg adjustable BCG and Sig 7.62QDTI. This setup has no muzzle rise, no gas to the face, and little to no felt recoil. On top are a MAWL C1+ and an Eotech Exps 2-0. Additional specs are BCM ELW barrel, Geissele SD-E trigger, Radian CH, and MFT minimal stock. What makes this rifle extremely pleasant to shoot is the Bootleg adjustable BCG coupled with a larger can and BCM's well know gas system.

Is that can direct thread? Sure throws a lot of flash out the front.

QD not direct thread. The flash is unnoticeable from the shooters POV. The Sig 762TIQD is a very quiet .30 cal can which is the reason I got it. It's on the lower end when it comes to flash suppression. This was one of the known trade offs for me. In general .30 cal cans on a 5.56/.223 will have more flash.

@@JoelPowell84 so would the QD muzzle device be a comp or flash hider without the can? Curious, waiting on my omega 36m I’m gonna be running all ASR flash hiders except on my PCC 9mm. It’s a super small ASR Comp. Just wondered if the flash hider helps at all

Sig offers both but with the can over either one I'm not sure it really makes a difference. I can't speak for other manufacturers but if it makes a difference I doubt you can tell with the can on. This is what I have: www.safesidetactical.com/shop/sig-srd556qd-muzzle-brake-1-2x28-53776

Setting 4 "S" for fully suppressed.

He’s so happy it has no recoil… fires only 2 shots at a time. So unsatisfying. 3-5 shot groups… ripping my hair out

What barrel and buffer system are you using?

Barrel is an 11.5" BCM ELW, buffer is a stock BCM buffer tube/spring with a BCM H (3.8oz) buffer. The main reason for it running so smoothly is the Bootleg adjustable BCG, matched with a Sig 762QDTI. Bootleg is totally underrated, don't know why more people don't run them.

@@JoelPowell84 I can definitely tell it was a 30 cal can, all those sparks shooting out the end. Still happens with dedicated cams, but not that much

LOL sure thing bud. This country was founded on men like these dudes in the video. If your a civilian out there and your reading this keep wearing your gear and keep training. I wear a team Wendy bump with opscore amps- an Agilite k19 or my gadsden dynamic PC- with shellback or rma lvl 4 plates- Haley strategic chest rig and flat pack- crye g3- ronin shuto belt esstac pouches safariland holster- dd mk18 and Surefire rc2- Salomon quest 4d boots. And now I’ll be scooping a bootleg adjustable bcg forsure.
