Last week we had the pleasure of taking 63 WWII veterans back to Hawaii for the 80th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
As you can imagine, this program was filled with so many memorable moments. One that stands out is meeting the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines stationed at Kaneohe Marine Base. What was supposed to be a casual meet and greet with our WWII veterans, turned out to be an unexpected torrential downpour! But, that didn't stop these young Marines from getting the chance of a lifetime to meet so many WWII veterans. Oorah!
