Vusi Thembekwayo, the 32 year old self-made millionaire is on a new journey of changing the narrative of entrepreneurship in South Africa. As a newbie about to invest, you must have these three things in mind 1. Have a long term mindset. 2. Be willing to take risk. 3. Be careful on money usage, if you're not spending to earn back, then stop spending. 4. Never claim to know - Ask questions and it's best you work with a financial advisor.

This is what I always tell people. They want to make the first move when they have hundreds of thousands, they also expect instant success. About 2 years ago, I told my friends I was going to be a millionaire through stocks after watching an inspirational video on here on KZfaq. Had barely 50k and dedicated expert help. Fast-forward to now, I have made over a million and they're all acting shocked. Goodluck!

Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.

Thank goodness you brought this up! On 2019 I left work to start my own business which I still believe is my dream (transport business), due to a couple of reasons that failed and and of course after having tried other businesses to make up a capital failed due to lockdown and people losing their jobs I failed again on that. I am now going back to work to start again but this time I will be starting not from zero but with experience. The hardest part is to wake up and start. Thanks for this reminder Mr Vusi.

This confirms to me that DOING is more important than theorems taught at schools. Most of which give you a 1000 ways you cannot DO and only one way of doing. I find it challenging and rewarding more often than not to listen to Vusi and APPLY this potential knowledge. Being motivated is not enough for me, this gentleman tells me things that help me BECOME my succeeding self. Thank you Sir.
