Love it. I think I've been through a couple more downturns sadly. What you're saying is always true. I love the mention of the build your well quote. I first used it over 20 years ago at the front of my first website!

Thats true, have to stay sharp, I guess its really engineering and we have to keep learning and practising, yeah just like boxing or kung fu

I think if a job can be kept marketable by keep learning is a good choice, means there is a clear approach to follow 😊

Have you ever talked about how to find out the next trend of some techniques, or how to be the first group of people starting using those new techniques, like Git, or React, GHA cicd, etc. I found I always start leaning them after they have become the trend.
