Join us for a memorable beach day at Carcavelos, Portugal with my daughter Mathilde! At almost two years old, she absolutely loved playing on the sandy shores of the nearest beach to Lisbon. Despite a sudden bout of rain and wind, we had an amazing time.
Our journey from home to Carcavelos was quite an adventure, taking nearly two hours. We rode two subway lines and then caught a train from Lisbon to Carcavelos, which alone took 30 minutes. It was worth every minute to see Mathilde's joy.
