Yes! This is so beautiful! I love the napkin idea and lining the drawers. Im paying attention to the chalk paint you use and top coat b/c im going to go broke using Dixie Belle. A question about your paint sprayer. My husband believes that any efficiencies gained by sprained are cancelled out by the time required to clean the sprayer between uses. Would you mind sharing how long it takes you to clean your sprayer between different colors and for overnight?

@@susanc1179 So you don't have to actually clean the sprayer. The nozzle, container liner and filter lid are all tossable. Just a tiny bit of product remains on the needle for the gun and that is the only thing that HAS to be wiped or washed off. I am cheap though so I wash all my stuff. I rinse it in the water hose and just wash it with dawn soap. It maybe take me 5 minutes for all that. Spraying your pieces takes 1/3 of the time compared to painting so it is much much quicker. Oh for overnight stuff. With paint I just tie a Walmart bag around the whole gun and container. With poly I do take my nozzle off and clean that so it doesn't harden overnight. The container to hold your products comes with little stoppers to keep them air sealed overnight.

@@SabsRehabs Thank you! This is so helpful! Is this the case with only sprayers powered by compressors? We bought a Grayco that is electric. It has the hand held too. It’s not open yet so I’m wondering if we should return it and buy a set up similar to yours. You and DIY Wife are the only furniture painters I’ve seen using sprayers and you’re both using this set up. I’m a complete beginner but have a pretty good insight into my target market - they want white and white and white, with maaybe an occasional blue mixed in. I’m picturing myself putting 5 pieces to be primed on the driveway (lots of Oak, acres of Oak) and then spraying white paint. Hand painting seems pointless under those circumstances. FYI - my daughter is my demographic. She believes grayish tan is a color. I swear she did not get this from me! 😂

@@susanc1179 🤣🤣🤣 I haven't used the Graco myself personally, but my furniture flipping buddy Furniture Flippa has a video where he compares the Graco with a Wagner and shows the clean up steps for it. It is waaay more intense than the clean up for my gun. I haven't used another air compressor gun but I have watched a few other painters do it and from what I can tell they don't have the tossable nozzles and liner like my gun.

Yes! It has great bones. No makers mark though, so I have no idea what brand it is. IF I did I would be on the look out for more piece from that brand because it was well made.

I was in question in the beginning but at the end I was like, oh my goodness!!!!!! I am looking to paint very dark pine furniture to go into my beach thing bedroom and you nailed it. Absolutely perfect. I fell in love with the color that you ended up with. I am extremely OCD and getting the paint color is going to be my biggest hurdle. Thank you so very much for sharing.!!!!!!

I love that color! I actually have a desk that is close to that color. Get this...beach inspired. I decoupaged maps on top of the desk along with nautical symbols...ship's wheel, compass etc. Then, I stenciled a rope design around the top edge of the top of the desk. I've already had a family member put in a word for that desk one day... You got a wonderful profit on the dresser. Great job! 🙂👍

I’ve been watching you for a while and every piece is beautiful but what I really like is that you go the extra mile with the details on the drawers. It’s like a signature. If I ever saw a piece with decoupage, stamps, etc., I’d know it was yours immediately.
