The guy who held the shark in place by holding onto his tail knew exactly what he was doing & that the shark needed to get some oxygen first to recover before letting him go

@@kegalormoon Or, a marine biologist. I saw one of my Professors do this with a much smaller shark in a tank. She just slowly pulled him back and forth. We all cheered when he started swimming by himself.

The last guy was also a hero for understanding that he had to be turned back upright in order to regain his ability to swim. When a shark is on its back it is under a trance known as tonic immobility. Notice how once the shark was flipped back upright and got water circulation through its gills, he regained his bearings and was able to eventually swim away. Good job sir👍👍

That was important to help the shark breath again. They breath during the swim mouvement I`m very happy we see some great guys helping a helpless animal instead of let`skill this dangerous beast. The last guy apparently knew what to do he put`s him into the rigth position so he can breath again and swim away

Never do this. Sick or injured sharks kill people since they can't get their normal meal. And that's what beached sharks are. Sick or injured. Ask any marine biologist that studies sharks. There's one here on YT that I would bet my life will say never do this. Shar Bites is the channel iirc. He prob said it before, actually.

Guess what most of the people who saved the big fish/shark ate for lunch the day they rescued the big fish/shark. Some ate sashimi, grilled fish, fried fish and sardines. 🤓😂😆😁🤭🫣🤫

The guy with the yellow cap did well. He pointed the shark into the waves so the water could flow through the gills again and the shark could breathe. That's why it took a moment to swim away.

The other guys ran off quickly the second any water touched the shark but the real hero understood the shark wouldnt attack in that shallow water in its condition, and he took the time to push the shark out further, bless him
