GUMBA That is called "Ammo racking," and it rarely ever happened in WWI, WWII, Vietnam, etc. The causes of it being so unoddly were because the most common shells shot were full-metal, which would shrapnel out if it did penetrate armor, meaning the actual shot would rarely have enough heat or energy to blow any munitions in the target tank. Also, the shot would usually curve in movement, meaning if you were to shoot where the ammo was, the shell would usually go a different direction. Contradictory to that, if the shell was anything like HE, HEAT, HEATd.S, or SABOT, it would have a high chance of setting off the shells inside, IF YOU WERE LUCKY. Also, the German, Russian, and French tank munitions inside would be pointing either straight up, or facing away from the vehicle's center of mass, which would keep the shells from destroying the internals of the tanks, in case of an ammo racking shot. In summary, ammo racking is very difficult to pull off, and in the case of it happening, the shells were placed to shoot out of the tank, so it wouldn't usually cause total carnage.

Draegast, if the tank bullet bounces, try getting near a wall and have it bounce off and see if it can backfire and destroy the tank!

Wow there need to be more Tanks like T-34 , IS 1/2/3/6/7 , Tiger 1 BDR G1 B , AMX (type in what ever number U want), P1000 Ratte , any VK. xx.xx P/H and so on . M4A4 (and his brothers), M7 , T95 , T-34-85 , Karl , the one and only Renault FT (and its copys) , Pz.Kpfw. V ausf. (any letter) also known as Panter . Pz.Kpfw. IV ausf. (any letter) , Pz.Kpfw. III ausf. (any letter) , Pz.Kpfw. VIII also known as Maus , M8A1 , T-29 , T-28 ,KV 1/2/3/4/5/13 , and many others like modern Tanks to . This mod has so mutch potential .

The round doesn’t bounce it explodes which is why when it hit directly behind the trailer it seemed to detonate and the round seemingly disappeared sometimes, although if it the round doesn’t hit as hard it doesn’t explode which is why it just goes through some objects (Not sure if you knew this but just wanted to be sure)

The first tank in BeamNG was made in 2012 if you crushed a car with the tank it will explode into glitch textures

The tank shot would actually just go through a car leaving a hole behind not bending it too much (obviously different types of ammunition would cause different things to it)

the bridge is technically another vehicle, if you hit tab you may be able to reset the vehicle instead of resetting the whole map
