I was introduced to Beanie Babies 2.0 when the McDonald’s Teenie Beanie line came out and let me tell you, I adored it! I was the kind of kid who would play every virtual world she enjoyed; Webkinz, Toontown, Pixie Hollow, Bearville, Barbie Girls, and now (well, then) Beanie Babies 2.0. My happiest memory of the site was seeing Snootz everywhere and playing Typing Tag while Potential Breakup Song and Fly On The Wall played back to back. I don’t think Beanie Babies 2.0 would have been remotely as good without Snootz, I bet you he has chronic back pain from carrying the whole site for five years lol I’m sad that I might never relive my most vivid memories, and that the shorts that promoted the website never got a proper ending, but those were the days and I loved them so.

Thank you so much. It’s been so long. I’m soooo glad there’s still people who remember my friends and I and love us. If only.. things were different..

I played this game almost every day from the time I was 8 but then I moved on to Webkinz and Build a Bear. I honestly miss virtual world games. There needs to be a world for adults that isn’t Second Life or IMVU.

I remember playing this all the time when I was a kid. Sad that it closed way before I remembered it existed.

I remember very little: some scavenger Halloween event, the cafeteria which seemed so expansive and sleek, and that it was the place I first heard the absolute bop "Potential Breakup Song" by Aly & AJ...but it's an itching feeling to remember digital memories you can't see again. I don't see it talked about much; thanks for covering the game.

I loved this game. My parents said webkinz were too expensive and because I already had a Bernie collection they got me these instead. But I loooooved it! In the world There was a thrift store (ripoff of the shop in webkinz) and the store was run by Harriet honeypot an old bear. And each day you could guess how many jelly beans were in a jar and win coins or something. I remember really loving this game but I don’t remember a lot about it because I was only 8 😢I also remember my favorite chat room was the Halloween party room because every time you entered it played a different Halloween song. It was so fun. Unfortunately the only mini game I remember playing on this game was one where you helped snootz climb a bean stalk. I also vaguely remember the shamrock bear having a game and there was also a knockoff version of frogger

I never had any official plush, but I remember having fun playing as that white bear with the smiley face on its stomach. All the clips I see of it are so nostalgic, I can perfectly imagine the sound effects! Great video :)

i used to love playing this!! when i found out beanie babies was following the webkinz train, i was actually super excited. that time period (2005-2008) was prime time for virtual pet sites- i played webkinz, this, moshi monsters, more obscure ones like rescreatu and chicken smoothie, what a great time it was!!

I played this for a few months when I was ten, but I don't remember why I stopped (even after receiving a third animal). I had the koala, racoon, and the tiger that i didn't play. I remember the dance floor room where you could dance with other animals and that Hoedown Throwdown was one of the songs. I also remember the super stressful diner dash game. And DMing other players and going to the pawn shop. I actually only played Webkinz for a few days before forgetting my password 😂

i played this briefly but i could never place anything in the rooms because Functional Game. i ended up spending most of my time playing the window washing minigame over and over again and then i accidentally took the bucket you clicked on to play it out of my room and couldn't put it back so i stopped playing and probably cried. only other thing i remember about it was i one time saw someone else playing it in the computer lab anyway there's One modern video about it by lsupersonicq
