Man what a blast from the past. I was too young to even understand how to properly play the game but I had so much fun visiting homes and the arcade games.

This reminds me of how in Sims 3 you could enter the Mausoleum and there was a chance you got mauled by a zombie bear

What a well-made video! I got recommended this randomly and really enjoyed it, especially the way you present a very comprehensive history without going overboard into boring amounts of detail. This was perfect for motivating me to finally do my dishes!! Definitely checking out the rest of the supernatural sims series, good work 😊

Ashley graham is my favourite resident evil character both original and remake! So I’m so glad to have come across your Ashley videos. They were both really well done and I very much agree with everything you said in both of them. I also love survival horror video essays. Definitely subscribing 🩷!

Is lisa blond or red hair? I think red hair will have more impact visually, but I don't know. I really like Lisa, bc she made the basics for the plot of SH2, and Homecoming. For some reason souls can be trapped in SH, and for some reason they can look alive in the fog world, and in the other world. That's the case of James,Angela, Eddie, Maria, and Alex. Like Lisa they can´t leave the town, even so in the case of Alex, he managed to go to Shepherd's Glen, but if SH is too close to SG, that means that town could be part, or was part of SH at some point.

As someone who worked on Millsberry, I was curious to see if anyone still remembered it. Nice retrospective! Millsberry was originally created and run by Neopets. I worked on Millsberry in 2005 and 2006 as a production coordinator--talking to General Mills about what they wanted, then planning and scheduling everything with a small team of talented and hard-working artists, programmers, and writers who brought the site to life. I helped design games and activities like the Colhurst Tunnels, the karate dojo, Editor in Chief, and painting. GM gave the contract to another vendor in 2006 for reasons I don't know, so I can't speak to anything from that era. It's great to know that folks have fond childhood memories--we really tried to make something fun and educational that rose above mere advertainment.

Thank you for the video. Sims 4 is definitely a disappointment. I didn't know about the appearance in the Sims 1 so i got to learn something. Maybe Sims 5 will do better for the plants.

Maybe the humanity has been trying to change their cells and DNA for at least 70 years, not an easy task, in Sci-Fi it is a normal topic, for example, in a series called Knights of Sidonia Nice video Bee, it's good to see you're back, did not know there was a PlantSim on the games

I literally said this connection of this concept in a different video by someone else in the comment section. I was immediately told like 17+ minutes ago by a random that I was incorrect [and they inserted a bullshit excuse as to why.], but I know better. Lmfaooooo. New here by the way. Thank you for also setting the record straight on the connection. I thought I was the only one!

Fun Fact,Nickelodeon didn’t even notice the pictures of bloody gir until after the show’s cancellation but it was to hard to find them all and kids probably won’t see it so they just left it writing this at the beginning of the video so don’t know if some of this will be explained in the vid so 🤷♂️

What’s funny is tattooed goth women are the new condescending hot chicks, the way preppy girls used to be in the 90’s. It’s annoying and kinda goes against alternative ideals.

Only Elizabeth's, Cleopatra's and Anastasia's books were translated in my language and my sister and I swore by them. After she found out there were more of them we would make lists of who was who, we'd rank them based on their synopsis (she would translate for me) and say how one day we should buy the ones we loved the most. Like another commenter said, this series was what kickstarted our interest in Anastasia and the Romanov family. This series was such a staple for my childhood and early teenage years that I still look at them fondly today. I've seen some criticism over their wording and prose in English but in Greek at least they still stand as good reads for young readers. Thanks for this vid!

One of my all-time favorite games of any kind! I just actively searched for videos about this. I'm surprised to hear someone say the demographic was probably 5-8, because it felt more "complex" and "sophisticated" than most content for that age group back then, to me. I remember being in 8th grade, playing this at the Boys & Girls Club. I distinctly remember feeling 🤯😢😅 the day I went to log on and the site was just gone. I was so shook because I'd just played it the day before and heard no news about a shutdown either. Wild times 😂

Would you like to get a jug of cheap vodka or some 40s and go sit behind something and drink and be awkward at each other? I can picture it like it was yesterday. The guys: Mohawks or shaved heads leather jackets or bombers and docs of course, the girls: jncos or similar with shelltoes orbpumas or plaid miniskirts when we could beg them into wearing them. Topped off with usually a band tshirt or a tank top for both sexes. Stupid no camera phones. Class of bloody 2000. Fuck.
