My favorite thing are children's characters who are legitimately intelligent and not man children. He's talking and puppeteering at the same time, and reminder ONE person is in that suit. That shows how amazingly talented he is.

Bear is a single person puppet. Right arm for head and left for left arm. Just like Big Bird. Only when both hands articulate are there 2 puppeteers.

@@lohphat actually the right (from his perspective) arm is stuffed, there's a wire connecting the right hand to the left, after going through the neck. So when he lowers the left arm, the right comes up, if you look closely you can see it, although it's very well hidden and choreographed. It's still just Noel MacNeal as a single puppeteer and voice actor.

@@3starperfectdeer233 general knowledge and common knowledge are not the same thing. You got it right the first time, but you're misquoting by calling it "common knowledge" at the end. General knowledge is being knowledgeable about general things as opposed to being knowledgeable about a certain subject (which I'm sure there's a name for but I'm blanking on right now). One of Jim Henson's greatest achievements IMO (despite Bear being after his time). The Muppets have such a lifelike and pure feeling to them that you rarely question their presence among people. He literally gave fictional characters life.

That's the beauty of being a children's show host and doing these. Nobody expects you have as many zingers than the rest of the stars, so they hit harder each time. I wonder if they got Mr. Rodgers to this show? I'd be very entertained seeing him do something like that.

I'm pretty sad that Hollywood Squares ended in 2004 forever, I really wanted to see the rest of the Sesame Street muppets (since Big Bird, Elmo, and Oscar the Grouch already guest starred) guest star on that game show.
