I've always loved the mother brain boss fights. Imagine being the galactic federation and wanting MB dead You have to storm a brutally harsh planet (zebes) survive the acid rain, the deadly native creatures being manipulated by MB to be more aggressive, fight through treacherous caverns, possibly swim through a lava lake, kill multiple space pirate leaders, survive a hoard of metroids and then still have to fight your way through her zebetite defenses/ringas/Cannons to even be able to fight her at all. Only samus could have stopped her.. let alone twice

I love how you included the little flashback at the start of super Metroid. That is done well mate. Also god damnit, I have never seen any video about mother brain fights that included the warioware one. Really great video, especially for including references From entirely different games (like WarioWare and SSB), and also cutscenes and flashbacks. Also, literal pictures inside Samus returns that show a single scene from a Mother brain fight? That's so good.

@@fusionwing4208 Been a bit since I played Prime 3 Corruption, but I don’t think the Auroras are straight up copies. Rather, built off the same technology, reversed engineered from Mother Brain. Basically the Federation reverse engineering Chozo technology for their own purposes.

I hope the Metroid Prime Trilogy gets a HD port for the Switch eventually, or atleast HD Remasters of Metroid Prime 1 and 2 Echoes for the Switch since as that former Retro Studios Employee said last year Prime 3 Corruption would be hard to port on the Switch due to its motion control issues.

Prime 3 can be proted pretty easily, the switch has motion controlls too, they just need a dedicated button for re-centering the reticle, The Remaster even has pointer controls

Super Metroid was just something else, dude. I finally got to play through it a few years ago and I finally understood why everyone loves it so much. Played through it multiple times, actually. The Mother Brain fight freaked me the hell out! I didn't expect it since I was so used to playing Zero Mission.

I hope that with artificial intelligence it will evolve to the point where a remake of Metroid 1 in the Super Metroid style can be created. Especially if it's the same as the cutscene in the game's intro. Super Nintendo's Mother Brain is the best version of all.

Yeah that kinda was the point mother brain theory goal Was to get the baby to imprint on her to control the Metroids to attack the universe In doing so she tried passing for human in this case a looking mechanical abomination of course this is using the extra lore we know from the series onwards Second it was also to have a back up to Fight samus showing this is indeed the same mother brain from Metroid 1 aka she learned

@@VladTepesVladTepes The problem that the majority of fans have with Other M isn't the gameplay experience but the story and portrayal of Samus herself. Federation Force received mix reviews, noting the worse part of the game was the visuals and some redundant gameplay/ lack of depth, but not a horrible experience at all. There's no reason to hate on these games. Everyone has an opinion and it's okay to disagree. Fusion has always been my favorite game in the franchise, and for a long time many people hated it just because sequence breaking wasn't an option and the game was "too linear". 20 years later it's finally getting the respect it deserves as one of the best entries in the series. Please don't be toxic man. This fandom doesn't need to be like others out there. We're better than that. Those games are just fine. Other M can be respected for the lore it adds to the series, and Federation Force should be revamped.

My two gripes against Metroid Other M are that 1, you're forced to obey some military officer and only use your abilities when allowed to instead of losing them yet again. And 2, that though young, Samus is shown to be almost a helpless child and dependant on other people for the first and hopefully only time in the series. I actually like strong female protagonists, especially the main woman like Samus who is in my opinion the first female main character. I don't count Ms. Pacman or any other characters because Samus was always her own separate person. She wasn't a character who was based on anyone else especially a male or anyone special's daughter or mother or anything else. She's her own woman. I HATE Metroid Other M.

6:48 Uhh, box is not mother brain, is a security robot created by the FG and its infected by the x parasite 11:03 aurora units are an artificial brains created by FG to command the hunters to a "special" mission or like a leader, aurora unit DOESNT have any relationship with mother brain, they are diferent, 1 aurora unit is the final boss because the space pirates captured him and reprogramed him (like mother brain) And dark samus controls it to "exterminate" samus aran 15:11 someone say that scene doesnt counts like mother brain, but mother brain appears on game, with an a human body form created by FG to "erradicate" Mother brain off of the hands of the space pirates, is the "pre" final boss 23:52 that "again" is not mother brain, is a MASTER brain that his purpose is controll the Doomseye, his lore is unknown 27:13 OK, seriously cant be sooooo "inteligent" to say Mother Brain to that, THAT IS AN OMEGA CANNON ENEMY, SAMUS KILLS IT TO GET THE OMEGA CANNON, IS NOT MOTHER BRAIN!

Not once was it specified that it had to be a Mother Brain fight, the title of the video is "Brain Battles" and so it contains any fight against a brain
