@@Lemonhead8890 yeah, it's the real deal dude, EM as an audiophile car audio us based company deserves more credit for their designs, I'd easily put them up against b2 audio for example, a nice Amp for it would be the jp3 cpt, running the Amp at 4 ohms will net you nearly 750w rms or so at 90 percent efficiency, you also get the added benefit of voltage and temperature read out on the bass nob as well as a cliplight. Another Really good value sub "which the em is for its built quality and power density" would be Dayton audios he 12" sub definitely check that sub out, handles 800w rms, is really affordable and would be a perfect match for the cpt too.

@@Lemonhead8890 parts-express sells those Dayton subs, even the he 15 is great too, they also sell professionally pieced together subwoofer box kits that you can put together yourself as well as everything you'd need to build whatever you'd want audio related pretty much.

I seen a demo from a guy that just bought one. It lasted about 3 minutes at RMS. The retailer gave him a new one under warranty, but things didn't go well for that one either. If memory serves, it was really pricey too. I like Memphis and have owned subs and amps from them and was happy with everything I had.

Am I going mad, or has Gately not published the T/S Parameters? As for the rest; Skar = Meh. DD - I really, really respect, but never loved. There's only one thing I look for in any sub (which I'm not gonna share), be it SQ or SPL … and the only sub in your list that has it, is Sundown! So for me, it's the Sundown hands down.

Sundown always works on new designs compared to other companies Sundown seems to be coming out with crazy amount of new series or remastered series I own a b2 neo with sundown soft parts and nothing is overrated

@@NerdyBassHead if Sundown Audio is the "one all be all end all", then why are there so many other brands of manufacturers?? From where I live, Sundown Audio is completely overused and the owners are 65 percent of the time arrogant because they own a Sundown. I prefer to buy other brands just because of the negative experiences I have seen and or heard. I don't believe that one subwoofer is King of them all, because there are so many different brands out there with different options, components, ratings, etc.

I had to call sundown for box specs. I just got my U6.5s in Friday. Process of building my enclosure. I went 1.0 cube for 2. Sundown recommended.4 per sub. I tuned at 34hz and 22” of port length. Sundown recommended 20-26” of port length. 12sq” of port volume.
