They did update it yea, and a pretty big one that adds this epilogue party a few months after the netherbrain fight, that's like the perfect closure to catch up with whoever of your companions is still alive, and see how everyone ended up, including you & your romance partner. Don't think you get it if you do some of the evil endings that involve dominating the brain & enthralling everyone tho' , for obvious reasons, but for good aligned playthroughs in particular , where almost everyone's still standing, I find it essential. Heck, some companions like Astarion don't even get much of closure w/o it.
