This series is very zen. Just a dude enjoying whatever he is doing in the moment to whatever extent he is able and not rushing anything or outwardly/vocally wishing he was doing something other than what he is. Nice.

You started streaming this right around when the KZfaq algorithm was pushing your Pokemon Stadium video, and I'm not sure if this was the best possible game for that situation, or the worst possible game. For me, it showed how unpredictable and unique this challenge would be, and you became the first person I've ever subscribed to on Twitch. Thanks for all the hours of entertainment!

Oh man, ~15 hours with pachinko. I couldn’t do it - I would have aborted the entire challenge. I respect the patience it takes to get through it.

I'm from Canada. I spent some time at a pachinko hall in Tokyo. It was probably one of the most loud environments I have spent time in. The sound of all the balls was nuts

I thought the sports games were going to be the hardest part of this challenge but I was dead wrong. I didn't realize there were pachinko games on the N64. Congrats to you for sticking with it! I would have quit.

This video brought back a childhood memory. My uncle was in the Air Force and spent time in Japan. He died when I was young, but had lots of cool stories. Anyway, he actually had a pachinko machine that my brothers and I would play when we came over! Now I’m gonna have to ask my aunt if she still has it!

I'm starting to have dreams about these videos. It started where I was playing a platformer where I was driving a car jumping between roller coaster tracks. It then cut to Thab playing Roller Coaster Tycoon on the N64. He was upset that the game didn't enforce any safety standards at all. On the pirate ship ride, guests were falling out, then back in, then it again. It was also impossible for the guests to get hurt. Thab was also upset that there wasn't a height restriction pin his roller coasters. Thab then climbed up a really tall ladder to put a battery in a speaker. I was really excited to go down a slide while Thab poured a bucket of apples on me, but it wasn't as exciting as I thought. Everyone concluded that Thab should've built a lazy river made it of apples instead. I didn't get Thab's enjoyability score, but it was obvious that he was upset that he didn't need to follow safety standards.

Watching this series has really brought home to me how limited my game library on N64 was. I’ve recognized a few of the titles you’ve played/suffered through so far and actually played a handful, but most of these are games I’ve never even heard of. Thanks for broadening the horizon of what was available for this strange, strange console, can’t wait until you hit Blast Corps and I hope Bio F.R.E.A.K.S. goes quickly… owned it, it’s a bad fighting game.

For some reason unknown to me, I watched a lot of this play-through on Thabeastplays. Part four had his best run of about 10 jackpots.

You know what, I don't think i'll play this one.

There' s this anime called Kaiji about gambling in Japan, it' s a great show. In season 2, it' s all about beating a rigged pachinko machine and man, how could they be so worked up about a pinball slot-machine? Great video and great series btw!

As a Konami employee, I can confirm that we have not converted the entire business to gambling. Just a very large portion of it. Still creating some actual video games.

I love how it's 2022 and we still pretend (on a global level) that we need these arbitrary rules that go fully unfollowed from a practical perspective. Like we're afraid if we don't adhere to them some robots will come down from the sky and give us a spanking. "We can't gamble? Guess we'll invent a system around it rather than reassess if it's acceptable culturally"
