darksouls but its an arcade racing game

THE ABSOLUTE RELIEF IN FINALLY BEATING THE GAME! ...but the unfortunate sadness that you'll never get back the feeling of finishing the game for the first time. What an experience. There will never be another title that comes close to the atmosphere of MCII. The whole series of Midnight Club has a special place in my heart.

This kind of frantic scramble near the finish line is peak Midnight Club lmao

Man, Savo was insane to me as a kid. I remember having to actually practice some self control because the fear of having to redo that race all over again made me automatically hit the nitrous button every time I made a mistake, or restart the track if I crashed not more than 30 seconds after starting. The worst part was the third race in Paris, I literally raged my heart out until I finally shut up, drove my route, and got out of that godforsaken stage. To this day, there's a good chunk of people who gave up MC2 because of both this guy and the crazy speed levels infused with high traffic scattered on oncoming straightaways. 💀

The fact that the hardest final boss for me is from an arcade racer is hella funny and baffling. No Resident Evil or Devil may Cry boss came close lol

Man midnight club 2 was fun and hard at the same time every character either supports you or trash talk you to do better, but savo was one of the hardest racers I've ever went against, his car was fast, the checkpoints were spread out and the traffic either swerves into you or the other racers maneuver you in the worst ways possible costing you the race, i still get ptsd from his soundtrack.

I always knew Midnight Club 2 was the hardest of the series😖 When people complained about MC Los Angeles i was thinking "you guys must've never played MC 2" Los Angeles was actually the most balanced

I beat this game 4 days ago and holy shit is it fun, it really gets you on the edge of your seat when you progress later in the story mode😮‍💨

Woaaah finished while crashing into gas station and explode kind like action movie🤣

Ill never forget playing this for the first time as a 10 year old kid, struggling to get past hector's second race. I was able to finish the game at 16, istg, in the last 10 seconds of the last race, I almost had a heart attack and after finishing I almost cried. What an absolute rollercoaster. 😂

As a person who played mc3 instead of 2 seeing you spin out makes my anxiety go up

Just finished it for the first time, after rediscovering it through the soundtrack. I played mostly with the motorbikes I really have no idea how to win the races especially the last ones with regular cars.

The 2nd Savo was really the hardest race in the whole game
