Ill never forget playing this for the first time as a 10 year old kid, struggling to get past hector's second race. I was able to finish the game at 16, istg, in the last 10 seconds of the last race, I almost had a heart attack and after finishing I almost cried. What an absolute rollercoaster. 😂

how do yall get the VHS effect? i wanna make one of these but the only editing software available to me is Windows Movie Maker (don't bother recommending DaVinci Resolve, you need a working LEGIT phone number to use that because shit like TextNow makes you pay for SMS verification codes. don't bother recommending getting a proper phone number, i can't do that until August at the earliest anyway. and don't bother recommending upgrading my software, i cannot afford to do that) and I've Googled how to do the effect in WMM and i get NO answers, just a bunch of Veed and Kapwing shit that leaves watermarks on your videos unless you pay. again, i can't afford it. so i ask, is there any way to do the VHS effect in Windows Movie Maker?

I'd say carbon was one of the only games that had it's shutdown justified by age, however the actual point has been made. The crew should not have happened, especially considering the fact that yes, people may have "bought a license" when getting it online. But this was sold as a disk based game too. I had bought it and never really played it, but it just proves that I and many others actually OWN this game.

to adress your first argument points, Carbon (and every NFS games that's isn't 2015 for that matter) allows you to play the single player campaign part of the game completely cut off from the internet, which unfortunately cannot be said the same with your The Crews, your NFS 2015, and your upcoming -The Day Before- TDU Solar Crown whenever the internet goes down for whatever reason, or EA/Ubisoft/Nacon decided it's time to end the online services for these games for good
