Lots of people think/thought that Ric sang lead all the time, nope, the major-hottie-man Ben Orr shared that title and Ric was quoted as saying “he gave the “best” songs to Ben.” I love bands with two dual lead singers and LOVE the Beatles!

@@jaelge There's a part where the riff comes in right after George's solo where John has his back turned, and I'd REALLY love to see his right hand about there. Just so sad we couldn't have seen tape like this back in 65 when we were 13. Living in flyover country, all we had was daily newspaper and 3 tv channels. Always scoured all for any news of the beatles...entire family sat and watched ed sullivan on sun nt to see if they might be on!!

Macca, ripping "Long Tall Sally" and able to sing songs as tender as "Yesterday"...talk about one of the greatest vocalists in rock history.

Recorded soundtrack? No. Backup vocals? No. Backup Keyboards? No. Orchestra? No. Auto tune pitch correction? No. Modern gadgets and computers? No. Monitor speakers so they can hear themselves above a screaming crowd? No. Then why do they still sound so good? Hard work and talent.

My 7 year old granddaughter loves the Beatles! (Smart kid!) When I think back to my first after school job at a small music store in 1974, the owner offered to sell me a red 1965 Rickenbacker 365. I didn't want it because it was "old".😖 🙄I was a freshman in high school and didn't know any better. I did end up buying a 76 Les Paul.

April 11 was Palm Sunday in 1965. I had the mumps right at that time!

I remember waking up with the mumps aka parotitis as a little girl, too. On Christmas Day bummer !! Glad for the vaccine - so kids today don’t get the virus, anymore.

@@KittyGrizGriz I had 'em all: measles, German measles, chickenpox and mumps. Got vaccinated against shingles last year.

Timeless. It's sounds as good, if not better, than ever here in 2024!

I'm 71 years old and I still get inyo them as much as I did then. They gave us rock 'n roll, no one else did. Including that jealous elvis.

The harmonies are insane. They probably couldn’t hear each other at all. Amazing.

Fairly clean sound compared to the other recording of the concert

Paul McCartney is happy to entertain the audience. He has found his lifetime destiny and is performing still live in his 80ies. How blessed he is with his gift and shares it with us.
