This is a 1966 Russian propaganda film which manages to get quite a few facts wrong. The "swimming trunks and toilet seat" description is from their Hamburg days. Brian Epstein was not from London. And the funniest: Notice how they call Brian Epstein a "fairy", without knowing he was gay!

The part about the girls screaming hysterically is VERY true. Hell, the Beatles even stopped doing concerts since they couldn't hear themselves over the obnoxious sounds that the girls were making.

Um, I don’t think that’s why the Beatles stop doing concerts. Fun fact: the screaming fans DID lead to the creation of wedges, the on-stage monitors most all jazz, pop and rock musicians use (unless they exclusively use in-ear monitors), and they were created by a local sound engineer in LA for the Beatles’ appearance at the Hollywood Bowl. Basically, he took some mid-sized speakers and turned them at an angle 📐.

"Then they met a kind fairy - London dealer Brian Epstein" , a humorous but less than kind reference to their late manager. Though Paul did write a cool song to the ol' Soviets, 2 years later.

The Beatles music was okay but they should never have given up the toilets seat angle. They could have really been something! Don't know about the swimming trucks though.

In USSR, the sitution was quiet normal with the variety musics at all and with pop culture in particulary. Rock'nroll was a probem, it was regarded as too mixed up with the bourgeois culture(((

People changes their perception of "left " or "right all the time. Before the soviets are called "leftists", now the new modernists are called "leftists", even though the soviet union decried the modernists. And the l"liberals", who would be considered "right " in soviet union and conservative " left"... People change term definitions based on deceit and impiety

@Comanglia the factors u mentioned are minor. But main is absence of normal economy, cynicism of those with power, apathy of the mob, corruption in all levels.. What u call "the real reason" is just a symptom or the last drop. Very low political culture of the Russians kept USSR agonizing for 2-3 dozen years (in 50-s CIA predicted USSR fall by mid 70-s). USSR was planetary adversity. Btw, what my statement I shouldn't be sure of?

By the way, some people say the battle are socialists. Yes, they are, national socialists if you say it's closer to the "human right" than the soviet union, which is very'conservative" according to today's definition imposed and forced by the public poll.

Это какой-то бред. Большая часть ролика озвучена человеком с лёгким английским акцентом, а конец ролика взят из пропагандистской программы СССР, в нём говорится про то, что за танцами люди не замечают притеснения чернокожих Google translator: This is some kind of nonsense. Most of the video was voiced by a man with a slight English accent, and the end of the video was taken from the Soviet propaganda program that people don’t notice the attraction of blacks after dancing

Harold Herrera You can't blame the Beatles or rock music for that, this is shitty soviet commie probaganda trying to detract the greatest group ever THE BEATLES! Plus the Beatles were against the Vietnam War and supported the Civil Rights movement too, and Rock n Roll music like Elvis and The Beatles helped end segregation, and later helped end the soviet union and communism as well!

@currishev At least since ancient greece, sports IS culture. Everyone who doubt that, is just silly. No wonder you left your country with such an traitorous attitude toward your fatherland. To say the USSR failed as a political construct is one thing, to insult ones culture is another. You didn't anwsered my question: Whats americas/canadas contribution to world culture besides superficial and irrelevant pop culture, financial crises and illegal offensive wars?
