9 жыл бұрынPart One of a trip I did aboard my Crawford Melonseed, "Winola" from April 30-May 2, 2015 from Beaufort, NC to Shackleford Banks within the Cape Lookout National Seashore. Three days and two nights of camping alone on uninhabited islands.

You have inspired me to try own of these boats. I have a Bauer 12ft sloop right now. This looks like a easier way to sail single handed.

If I'm not mistaken. It's Buefort NC and Bowfort, SC. Both spelled the same way. I was stationed at MCAS Cherry Pt NC.

Excellent!! I have been waiting for a Melonseed video on camp/crusing, and here it is; rain & all. Fantastic! Could this be the beginning of an annual event? Despite the 3 foot waves and rain, your smile tells it all. There is nothing quite like a Crawford built boat.
