you know this colour palette screams i am lead by what is fashionable, i can not think for myself , that is not what the house needs to be the grand home it should be , people that want modern decore and such should buy modern houses not ruin beautiful old girls with modern trash that shows they do not understand what she is or how she should look , do us all a favour buy new houses not do what these people did and ruin a home full of history and which should reflect that in it decoration and furnishings there are ways to have bright and not vulger , you can buy chinoisery thats very light , white background and and pale coloured pattern there is no need to go for the brain trained painted in dull unimaganative beige and cream , i guess you can tell people that have to be told what is nice , well my dear my ancestors lived in pallaces and to see an old girl destroyed like this turns my tummy like seeing a person whip a horse , neither should be permitted near the beautiful being , they stripped the life from her and made her a collection of storage boxes that do not have to be beautiful because they are for storing what you do not really need

Ivy on a façade always gives it a little je-ne-sais-quoi, especially when it is bright green during spring or turning orange and red during autumn 🍁

would be nicer if it was not made to look so modern , i like much more victorian and earlier decoration to me mordern is impersonal and i love the elegance of the very old furniture too , i love how they decorated Lalande in the chataue diaries , she has kept it decorated in all traditional style , the chinoiserie and toile de jouy , they were built for showing off and dull painted walls do not shout opulance , they are meant to be opulent , this does not scream old money , its more we dug the beauty out of it and made it a modern house , if people want a new build that is what they should buy not ruin an elegant old lady like her with blah decoration

Very dull decor

they stripped most of what is beautiful about a chateau it would cost a fortune to put it right add back the panels and coving , its just so sad they destroyed her

When you buy a house you make it your own, with your own decor. What's more important is the size of the house and its location. Dull colors can always be changed.
