I’m 57 years old. I remember being young and listening to R&B music. I’m a white man. My best friend was black. He introduced me to all of this great music! It was the music of my life and taught me about love. We are still best friends and talk about music. I can never thank him enough for this amazing music. Thank you Shawn 🙏❤️

No, he wasn't underrated, everyone knew LTD. We knew exactly what we had. LTD was a bad group. Everyone talked about them and played them all the time. 1976 until now 2021.

My momma used to have parties in our house back in the day. She would play songs like these on her cabinet record player. She even had a Soul Train Line in the living room. I was raised by real folks. I’m grateful to God.

I remember when Love Ballad first came out. I couldn't find it anywhere! It was sold out everywhere. Years passed and I visited my Uncle and his stepdaughter had it and gave it to me. It was a 45 record. I played it so much until the record turned white!
