These beautiful butterflies are here for such a short time yet they fill the world with so much beauty. I remember taking my children once to a butterfly sanctuary. There were some really large butterflies and they fly all around you and even land on you. Was one of the best experiences our children had.

The amazing thing about butterflies is that their beauty is so short lived. The average butterfly lives about 1 month. Some live only a week while others live up to 12 months.

I agree with you 100%. God's creative power is so often seen in the small things. We took our children once to a beautiful butterfly farm and it was so incredible walking around inside this mini tropical paradise as butterflies floated all around us. Absolutely incredible and such a privilege.

I remember being at school with my best friend and we were running together and then my best friend noticed a butterfly 🦋 on my shoulder I was so surprised lol I love them. We went to showcle teacher but it flew away right when we got to her

WOW. Hey thanks for sharing that. I learned something about butterflies recently that they actually form a chrysalis out of their own bodies whereas a moth spins a cocoon from silk and things like leaves and small twig fibers. So much to learn and so much to be in awe of as we enjoy the beauty of nature.

@@NaturesInvitation Moths do the same thing as butterflies. The Cocoon is only to hide and protect the chrysalis. After the caterpillar crafts the cocoon, it crawls inside to form the chrysalis
