The Morning Glory roll-cloud can be seen in September near Burketown, N Queensland, Australia. This is the only place where is is reliably found.
Gliders take off at first light, and look for the cloud out over the sea. The lift is strong, and you can surf hundreds of kilometers, with the most amazing views.
