Brings back wonderful memories of two recent summers. Been through the tunnel and over the Pass. Can't wait to travel again when the pandemic is over, until then, we have these fantastic videos to keep us dreaming...

In 2007 we drove over the Alps on a very narrow winding road where a helicopter takes anyone in an accident. If I remember right, there weren't any guardrails or barricades along the way. I remember the higher up we got, on every curve it was like the car would simply fly out into space. Quite a very scary drive...I was the driver the whole way never stopped gripping the steering wheel so tight my hands were white. At the top there was a hotel .Somewhere we stopped I got out to view a glacier ...Another absolute frightening moment..so much ice and snow..so cold. Now I can't find what road that was. Take care anyone wishing to experience the journey. It's gorgeous, haunting, mysterious, treacherous, and exhausting.

Nice video. Excellente landscapes decorating a road that seems perfect for driving. I've this trips on my "to drive on" list. I also like some of the music tracks, but and if allow me, I think this kind of videos are fine with only the sound of the car rolling :) Thanks for sharing.

Man startet mit dem Motorrad unten bei nahezu Raumtemperatur und fährt auf dem Pass durch Schneefelder. Also ausreichend Kleidung anlegen! - Die Musik habe ich herunter geregelt. So schön das direkte Fahren mit Musikbegleitung auch ist. Aber da hat doch jeder seinen eigenen Geschmack!

Some years ago atcthevend of an ulsterbus tour holiday, we were supposed to go through the gotthard tuner. There was a queue as there had been an accident in the tunnel. As wevwerecon a tight schedule the driver decided to go overcthecpass instead. I'm terrified of heights, and it started to rain so it quickly got misty. But I'm still glad I did it. At least I got to see some of the scenery.

Whenever he exists a tunnel it's like we're entering heaven.

Excellent video. However, given the magnitude of the scenery and the deep history of the Gotthard Pass, probably going back to European prehistory, a less sophomoric choice of music would have been more appropriate. I turned off the audio.
