@@ChipsGreenWorldthe birds would feast on them I’d think if you had mosquitoes. We do and I have a watering station for birds and insects. So far no mosquito larvae. Beautiful water feature here.

Hi Donna , I’m pleased to say we don’t have a problem with mosquitoes in Yorkshire , but we do have a lot of rain and this will keep the ponds filled with fresh water most weeks also the plant roots will oxygenate the water too 👍🏼 the ponds are in a shady spot in the garden which will also help 🤞 the containers are from Home Sense , the water plants you can get from most good garden centres or on line 👍🏼 thanks again for your message hope this helps, all the best and good luck with your new venture in the garden 🌱 Chip
