Thank you so much for sharing. So interesting what you can do once you've got the permanent structural elements established. So many lovely details, particularly the different textures, all unified by green foliage and white flowers. Bravo.

Totally getting into the music while you guys do your thing, such a beautiful courtyard, love the step up for Spud, so perfect, my cats would love it as well...I used to have a yellow lab we named Spud, he was stolen out of our back yard kennel, they got a good duck dog, sad...that twisted Hazel is fabulous and tomorrow my honeysuckle is getting a haircut as well...sure wish I had a gypsy boy to help in the gardens, big sigh...have a great week...!

I love the pace of your videos. I always look forward to watching them. They are beautiful and inspiring. I'm about to move into a shady courtyard myself, so I'm watching intently. I may need to substitute some of the types of plants as I live in South Australia. Stay well.

You make trimming a box ball look so easy. You are amazing. What about some hakonechloa grass for a pop of bright green for the corner or a variegated carex. Love how things are coming together and so happy that Spud is enjoying her step.

@ChipsGreenWorld4 күн бұрын
Hi Barbara and thank you for your concern 🤠 I intend to Topiaries the two Figs I planted , I thought I mentioned this in the vlog .. I maybe should have been clearer.. they will only be allowed to get 10ft tall and no wider than two feet .. and all foliage will be pruned away up to 5ft from the ground.. so they will be large Bonsai 👍🏼 🤭 giggle Hope that puts your mind at peace ✌🏻 🌱 Chip

Sitting with my tea & toast, I watched this early morning inspiration for my newly designed pebble and container garden. After preparing the plot, and sorting out the surface area, I am frozen into inactivity, I have been dithering about choosing plants. I'm calling it The Japanese Garden, but every day it gets a new title. I'm starting with a lovely acer,. Not just because it's Japanese, but because I love them. But I think having a theme is getting in the way as it's discounting plants I absolutely love, and also limiting the number of plants I can have. So I'm throwing the theme ( and all titles) out the window. Thank you, Chip, for this much-needed shot in the arm. I think I'm off to buy a fig.
