Something to think about: Jews are not allowed to enter Al Aksa, Christians too. The mosque that was built on our temple that was destroyed, and still, in Judaism on the holiest day of the year, Yom Kippur, we repeat in every prayer the verses from the book of Isaiah: וַהֲבִיאוֹתִ֞ים אֶל־הַ֣ר קׇדְשִׁ֗י וְשִׂמַּחְתִּים֙ בְּבֵ֣ית תְּפִלָּתִ֔י ... כִּ֣י בֵיתִ֔י בֵּית־תְּפִלָּ֥ה יִקָּרֵ֖א לְכׇל־הָעַמִּֽים׃ This is something that can be seen at the Western Wall regularly, people from all over the world and of all types and colors come in to pray. Apartheid is only up in Al Aqsa.

Tal, and Moshe, there is NO noodles, it is Kataifi. Greek phyllo baked as a strand. Look up how they make Kataifi pastry. They draw the batter across a flat topped griddle and it cooks almost instantly. Then they gather it up into bunches. For Kanafeh they cut up the Kataifi into pieces, add butter, then cheese, more Kataifi and fry and bake it. Yummnmm. Yummmmmm

We were in Jerusalem June 2022 as part of our Jordan-Israel trip. I have a recommendation about posting an episode about Filipinos in Israel. This is. . in conjunction with an IDF soldier who was born an Israeli but with Filipino parents. He was killed in Gaza together with other IDF soldiers when the building they were on were blown by Hanas. This is just a thought. BTW, I am enjoying your posts in Israel interspersed with food !!!

It shouldn't be contentious, the al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem was not named or built until 70 years after Muhammad's death. The Real al Aqsa mosque is in Ji'rrana, Saudi Arabia near Taif.

Our Moses doesn't pray on a garbage dump, and Muhammad in Arabic sources is written of praying in the al Aqsa mosque in Ji'rrana near Taif. In Ji'rrana, there are two mosques, al Adna, (the closest), and al Aqsa ( the farthest). This is the mosque Muhammad spoke about. There was NO mosque in Jerusalem as there was No Muslims there until Umar.

I've always wanted to visit Israel. As a Christian I'd love to see the places where my Lord walked, I don't know if it's safe to go to Bethlehem? Even though Israel has a nation, so much has been stolen from them, & the Muslims still get to still have place to live & worship in Israel. It's very sad. I would love to see the Holy Land & all it's beauty. I pray for Israel, for peace & peace for Jerusalem. My heart hurts for the Jews to see how much hate & antisemitism there is worldwide.😢 I'm so happy that one day Jesus will reign & rule from Jerusalem & that the Jews will have their land. Religion is interesting. The effects that religion can have on people are interesting, and unfortunately for many groups, including me, those effects can be dangerous and deadly. I do think that God is not something that is supposed to be blindly believed in (as the Abrahamic religions encourage) - it must be experienced firsthand. There is no mention by name Palestine, Palestinian, Al Quds, or Jerusalem in the Quran. What does the Zionist book the Quran have to say about the holy land. In the Quran surah 5:21 To the Children of Israel, O my people! Enter the Holy Land which Allah has destined for you ˹to enter˺. And do not turn back or else you will become losers.” In the Quran surah 17:104 'And We said thereafter unto the Children of Israel, “Dwell in the land. And when the promise of the Hereafter comes to pass, We will bring you forth in [one] gathering.” Jews are entering and living in the holy land Israel on a daily basis. In the Quran surah 2:47 said 'Children of Israel, Recall My favour which I bestowed upon you, exalting you above all nations.' King David and king Solomon of ISRAEL are considered prophets in the Quran.
