I went to Israel in 2018. It was the most amazing experience of my life, apart from having my children. And yes, it was like coming home. The people are great and their sense of humour is great. My family only found out 10 years ago who we are. We always knew we were a little different than most Irish and Scottish. I'm very proud of who I am, I will never be ashamed of my lineage.

I've written before about Michigan these days and how it's downright dangerous to be a Jew here. Not only because of the Hamas sympathizers on the east end of the state, but the war has given the white supremacists an open invitation to be more forward and louder and, well, just more antisemitic than they even were before. I can't imagine what would happen if I dared to fly an Israeli flag on my house.

You guys hit the nail. Blanket statements and overgeneralizing are among the biggest issues with how people view Israel. Are there genuine criticisms with the government, and the settlement enterprise, and a number of misbehaving soldiers, yes. However, there is still a lot of good to Israel and it's so stupid when people are like "can't they just go back to their original countries?" like, sorry but I don't know how many Jews are interested in going back to Yemen, the U.K. and Russia, especially when you see shit like the Dagestan airport getting stormed by people hunting Jews (people should look that up if they don't know about it). On a brighter note, I got back from work last night and watched some pf your stream and am really excited to see you back on soothing semantics. I rewatched the last one you did and I still need to watch the one with Salukie.

I grew up in Australia and was the only Jew in my school in the 70s And the tech school i went to was one of the roughest in Melbourne Was racist as hell there and i was attacked regularly But i never took any crap and always fought back .... after fighting the toughest racists there, i got respect Jews need to stand up for themselves and not run away Unfortunately socialism and liberalism pussifies them

Israelis, in spite of the fact of their suffering, the injustice, and double standard leveled against them, don’t have the victim mentality. I can't say that for their neighbors. The fact that they never succumbed to that has enabled them to move forward, focus on their perseverance to improve their lives, and therefore, succeed. I'm not Jewish. I admire and salute them. Hi guys, great work you are doing. I have the same concern you have but with spanish speaking audiences. I am from Argentina but live in the US, so I can enjoy your content in english but a lot of our fellow brothers and sisters in Spanish speaking countries do not speak hebrew nor english. I feel they are almost completely isolated in this current time.

@@TheTravelingClatt Same, I feel that most of the jews in Spanish speaking countries are only exposed to what the local media is capable and willing to show about Israel and the war in Gaza. Antisemitism is also high in many of these countries, particularly now. So, if they dont belong to a sinagogue (which many do not) then they are pretty much isolated.

Tal, just watched a video and you claimed that unless you have a stack in this conflict you shouldn’t have an opinion (or something along those lines). My children are being raised Catholic but have Jewish ancestry. I believe it’s important for us to fully support Israel. Not from some strange Christian second coming position but out of respect for their ancestors.

Tal, you summed up what it’s like being Jewish all around the world. Most of the time it’s everyone vs the Jews. It’s the exception to find gentiles who support Israel. It’s the exception to find Christians who do not try to “convert the Jews.” It’s the exception to find gentiles who support Israel and the Jews with no ulterior motive to harm Israel or convert Jews. Where that concept of Israelis not having a social and historical linkage to the land of Israel comes from? A lot of propaganda and money has being used to delegitimize the Jewish nation. I'm really not interested in Jewish men, Latin American, sub-Saharan African, European/white, or East/Southeast/Central Asian men either. I prefer Arab, Indian, and Polynesian men. But el Señor Barak is rather fine looking, I have to say.

Seeing Israelis comfort while committing genocide is frightening. Even German citizens during the Third Reich weren’t this bad. I don’t think any population in recorded history has been this detached from humanity. At least the Nazis realized how abhorrent and disgusting and evil they were.
