Did you grow up in the area of your farm? A two stage snow blower in a winter like this would be really nice. You have a beautiful farm. Yes money cannot replace the peace and tranquility of the country!!!

From this Wisc. boy, that is some substantial snow. We have not been hit by a real storm in some years (knock on wood) but probably the most where we've had were we are in the last couple of decades was a couple of feet. That was a blizzard with high winds and the drive was drifted like concrete. Took a couple of days to get out. That is sort of an adventure, though. I actually dread those winters where you get pounded one reasonably small snow on top of the next. You feel like you just finish up and you are at it again.

Perhaps a 3 point mounted PTO snow blower would help. Probably not cheap though.

still none here tho should be here this weekend, used to log with my percherons in snow like this and deeper put the backblade in the bucket works really well esp moving banks back ya gotta love it

Today’s little peek at your life on your farm was spot on. I love the beauty and variety of our country. I live about 2 miles (10 minutes) from the pacific ocean, half way between LA and San Diego. It is sunny and 66 degrees at 2:28 in the afternoon. What an incredible contrast!
