Today I'm making this Key Lime Pound Cake. Watch & Enjoy!😊

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED IN THE VIDEO.
INGREDIENTS I USED:
Bake in oven preheated to 325 degrees for 1 hour 30-40 mins.
3 Sticks of UNsalted Butter (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Sugar
5 Eggs (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Cake Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk (Room Temperature)
1 Tsp Lime Extract
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp Creme Bouquet Flavoring (Not a must have ingredient)
1 3 oz box Lime Jello
2 Fresh Limes
Lime Zest
Lime Juice
For GLAZE I USED:
Powdered Sugar
Cream Cheese
Lime Juice

I've made the key lime cake before. It's been since 2009, that I've enjoyed baking. The last key lime cake was for my mother, after Thanksgiving 2009. She passed away Dec. 5th. I haven't had the joy for baking since. But, just watching your videos and the joy & love which flows through, I am slowly getting back into what I love to do. Okay...I made this marvel of flavor and it’s my new hallelujah cake! I’m so in love with this cake. My son could smell it cooking this morning when he came outside to potty the dogs... he walked over to my tiny home and poked his head in the door and said “Whatcha cooking mama, cuz it’s smells so horrible I need to eat it up so you can get rid of it 🤣😂🤣 He just popped over again about 30 minutes ago to see if it was ready to be gotten rid of 😂 he ate 3 big pieces with a cup of coffee. 😍 it’s official, this cake is AMAZING! Hey Errrybody! Ms. Donna, I think the reason why you had to bake your Key Lime Pound Cake for an hour and thirty minutes, is because of the amount of liquid. You added a cup of milk, about 3 tablespoons of lime juice plus the liquid extracts and the bouquet flavor. I noticed your batter was a little more liquified then normal. That's just my observation. But even so, it did turn out " BEATIFULLY!" Keep up the good work! ❤

Another great cake release my grandma taught me was butter and flour (put the butter in the pan spread it around then put some flour in there & shake it around to make sure all the surface is covered then tap the rest out) omg it gives the cake a great crust & the cake comes out soooo smooth just remember to let it cool a little while first

This recipe is absolutely the best! I wish I could post a picture. I did a golf ball cake with this key lime pound cake recipe, and everyone loved it! All the ingredients were awesome! I use either shortening or butter, dusted with flour even with my nonstick cake pans. Works very well. Sound like a good cake. Does it have a nice strong key lime favoring? Enjoyed your video. Hubby is so funny😀 My husband would do the same thing. He follows his nose when I'm baking. Lol😄
