Breaking the Magician's Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed is a series of television shows produced by Nash Entertainment in which the closely guarded secrets behind classic magic tricks and illusions are exposed by the Masked Magician, aided by his beautiful assistants.
The enormously popular TV specials and series featured the incognito magician performing large-scale illusions and a few smaller-scale close-up magic tricks... then revealing the secrets of how the tricks were done.

@@MrEmpireBuilder0000 The magician is the one creating, setting up and implementing the illusions. The women are there for show and can easily be replaced by any other person. However, someone coming up with the designs for the tricks isn't so easily replaced... Which is why the walking mannequin's (as Burt Wonderstone calls them) are "paid less".

Not all tricks are done only by the assistants, some are done by the magician himself, it just depends on what the trick requires, like every escape trick is done exclusively by the magician.

In various tricks different people play a different role. Sometimes some of the assistants do stealthy moves and act as a contortionist while the magician sells the trick and does the diversion. In other tricks the assistants have different roles and act more as just the diversion, and the magician is more actively involved in the actual trick moves. In some tricks it the stagehand operating machinery like the smoke machine that is responsible for part of the trick, or the camera operator carefully choosing the angles. The carpenters play a part in carefully building the trick contraptions. Luckily these videos clearly show who does what.

The design of that box is seriously amazing! The fact that it looks like a box sitting on a solid base when in fact the base is adding an extra 6 - 9 inches of space for the assistant to go is fantastic! Even with the trick revealed it's awesome!

A lot of these tricks look like they're based on the classic "Zig Zag Woman" trick in which the assistant simply turns to her side in the box. They all rely on people not realizing how narrow (most) humans are sideways.

Completely different roles. Think of a skyscraper building being built. So are the construction worker builders the only important part and do we just forget about the building architect/planner? These tricks are much more than the execution. The magicians set up and plan the show for months beforehand.

Overweight assistants need not apply for the job. If they attempted the trick with the Mask Magician in the box and the assistant prancing around showing her stuff, the trick wouldn't work. He wouldn't fit.

I like magic shows. When the incoming missile disappears, males slam in the door, to copy its sound, when it disappears. Males aggressively copy the disappearing bullets, artillery firing sound, and the incoming missiles disappearing.
