(2) for marine engines or motorboats manufactured on or after January 1, 1982, a noise level of 82 decibels on the A scale measured at a distance of 50 feet from the motorboat or equivalent noise levels at other distances as specified by the commissioner

I'm gonna build one. I just pulled a 454 bb Chevy out of my 82 crew cab Dually and was gonna build an air boat, but I have an extra EVO ready to go, I'm building a mud motor!

I got this very same beavertail predator from the kid in miami who got it from the bearded guy, had it in S La for a while but sold it like a dumbass. wish I had never gotten rid of it, so bad ass.

That poor motor is dying for some air. It’s doing good on the open water but probably getting pretty warm slogging through the mud. Do you have a oil temp gauge? I know this video is really old but just wondering if your still running it.

Those are cool but I could never get one to work up here......when its mid dec-jan and -10 degrees here, I would never get it started. I can barely get my bike to start below 20 in the winter.

Don't these boats ever fetch up hard aground once in a while? It seems like these guys who stand up while driving them would get their ass kicked if the boat suddenly stopped.

I rode in a big boat fitted with one of these on its maiden voyage and I noticed a four or five foot wall of water following us up the Mississipi. The captain didn't. He got off the throttle a little and the wall of water fell right into the back of the boat 20 or 30 gallons. This boat shown has the pods and runs great.... ours did not. I have two boats of my own with them and they are worth the price. This skipper is a good driver BTW. They quit making them because their insurance company would not cover the liability for making something with so much power and the obvious potential for getting into trouble......what I heard anyway.
