Base color: Amsterdam Blueish Green + Amsterdam Oxide Black + Amsterdam Phthalo Blue (group 2)
Pour colors:
Liquitex Titanium White (group 1)
Amsterdam Pearl White with a few drops of base color (group 2)
Amsterdam Turquoise + Phthalo Blue (group 2)

I have to admit, that paper towel step scares me to death!!! But… so beautiful. Love the cells that pop in so many sizes and colors.

This flower was so pretty at every stage of its creation! Each thoughtful detail you added made the finished painting so beautiful, even the swirl in the center added another layer of interest to the flower. Thanks for sharing your process! Just fyi, I had scraped a painting, & liked the color it created, so I did some tests, & long story short, I was able to use it as a 2 in a Dutch pour a couple of days ago, & it worked. Just something to keep in mind if the opportunity presents itself.😊

I’ve tried to use it as a base before and it ended up making a lot of unwanted cells. But I hadn’t thought about using it as a #2 pour color! I’ll have to give that a try!

Holy-oh-my-gosh-mind blown! It looks 3D with the soft gradients, highlights, and shadows. I’m sitting here wondering if I have a light enough touch to pull that off….😂

Group numbers are in reference to Olga Soby’s pouring recipe. I add them for those who have taken the class in case they want to adapt the design and make on themselves. Have you taken Olga’s course?
